In 2002, G&D Integrated created its Design Metrics division to provide engineering design services to support our manufacturing logistics services. Design Metrics currently works with many customers to fulfill their tooling and fixture design needs. Also, in partnership with Industry System Solutions, Design Metrics has designed wear kits for installations on equipment ranging from tractor blades to truck beds.
Design Metrics has both 2D and 3D design capabilities and has the ability to create new designs or alter existing designs. They also have programming capabilities for special applications.
Design Metrics staff has accumulated over 50 years of experience at designing including:
- Standard tooling needs such as chuck jaws, boring bars, and other general shop items
- Punches & dies from powder metal to sheet metal
- Machine fixtures, spot weld & welding fixtures
- Tooling of all kinds for specialty machines
- Special assembly machines for various products
- Final programming of various machinery applications
